Insight Global is actively seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our clients team in Jamestown North Dakota. This exciting opportunity involves working on a spillway project with a focus on roller-compacted concrete.

Responsibilities: As a Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

 Lab Work: Primarily conducting soil, aggregate, grout, soil cement, RCC, and CIP concrete testing in strict adherence to ACI standards.

 Field Testing: Participating in field testing and sampling activities.

 Dependability: This position demands candidates who are dependable, reliable, and committed to excellence.

Work Schedule:

 Hours: Expect a rigorous work schedule of 60 hours per week, spanning 6 days a week.

Skills and Requirements

1+ years of special inspection and/or construction materials testing experience

 ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1

 Valid driver's license and clean driving record

 Use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 A good work ethic and high level of personal integrity.

 Ability to monitor contractors and report results verbally and in writing.

o Proficiency in preparing clear and accurate detailed reports of testing and inspection activities and maintaining work activity records.

 Attention to detail, quality, and safety.

 Authorization to work in the United States. - The candidate for this project with additional years of experience and certification meeting some or all the following criteria will be considered for higher levels of compensation:

 Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge

 ACI Concrete Strength Testing Certification

 ACI Aggregate Testing Certification

 ACI Aggregate Base Testing Certification

 ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician

 ICC Special Inspector Certifications (Reinforced Concrete, Pre-stressed Concrete, Soil, Spray-applied Fireproofing, Structural Masonry, Structural Welding, Structural Steel and Bolting) null
