Robert Half Benefits Analyst in Plymouth, Minnesota

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Benefits Analyst in the manufacturing industry located in Plymouth, Minnesota, United States. This role involves providing support and expertise in Workday, Benefits, and HRIS systems. The successful candidate will be involved in various projects, including Workday implementation, benefits administration, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the implementation of the Workday project, which is set to go live in 2025.

• Managing day-to-day benefits work which could involve project work, benefits administration, and employee query resolution.

• Collaborating with vendors for file feeds and connections, ensuring seamless integration of their services.

• Conducting audits, billing, and invoicing to maintain financial accuracy.

• Participating in the administration of all benefits including health, retirement, and leaves.

• Potentially working on M& A front, which could involve integration work.

• Adapting to changing work demands, from daily tasks to project work.

• Utilizing a strong knowledge of retirement benefits to propose changes and improvements.

• Demonstrating analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach in all tasks.

• Thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing benefits work for both US and Canada.

• Using Workday HCM, Workday HRIS, Workday Integration, and Workday systems along with Excel and ADP EV5 to manage benefits functions, claim administration, and COBRA administration.

• Showcasing a broad-based knowledge of benefits including dental benefits, FMLA, benefits administration, benefits analysis, benefits coordination, medical benefits, insurance benefits, welfare benefits, and retirement benefits. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Benefits Analysis

• Proficient in Benefit Functions including Medical, Insurance, Welfare, and Retirement Benefits

• Demonstrated expertise in Claim Administration and Cobra Administration

• Experience in administering Dental Benefits and FMLA benefits

• Proficiency in Workday HCM, Workday HRIS, and Workday Integration

• Comprehensive understanding of Benefits Administration, Benefits Analysis, and Benefits Coordination

• Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze data

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Certification in Benefits and Compensation Management will be an advantage

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
